Windows DVD Maker

You can create DVDs quickly and easily using Windows DVD Maker. You can add video, pictures, and audio, make slide shows for your DVD, or add your Windows Movie Maker projects. Once you add files, you can burn your DVD with one click, or, if you prefer, you can choose from several menu styles and slide show options to make your DVD special before you burn it, or customize your DVD menus and write the DVD menu text yourself.

After you create a DVD, you can play the DVD in a DVD player and watch your movies and slide shows on TV. The following steps explain how to use Windows DVD Maker to burn a DVD.

1. From the Windows Vista default Start menu, point to All Programs, and then click Windows DVD Maker.

2. In the Windows DVD Maker window, click Choose Photos and Videos.

3. In the Windows DVD Maker window, click Add items.

4. In the Add Items to DVD dialog box, locate the appropriate files, and then click Add.

5. In the Windows DVD Maker window, add more items if necessary, and when done click Next.

6. In the Windows DVD Maker window, click Burn.

7. The disk burns.

8. In the Windows DVD Maker dialog box, click Close.

9. Close the Windows DVD Maker window.
