Tablet PC Input Panel

To open Tablet PC Input Panel, use the following steps:

1. On the desktop, locate the Tablet PC Input Panel tab that is floating on the edge of the desktop. Click the Tablet PC Input Panel tab to open it.

On the graphic, click the hyperlinks to move through the various screens.

Troubleshoot problems with Tablet PC Input Panel

• Input Panel does not correctly recognize what I write.
• The Input Panel icon does not appear near a text entry area.
• The Input Panel tab does not appear on the edge of my screen.
• The Input Panel icon does not appear on the Windows taskbar.
• Scratch-out gestures do not work in Input Panel.
• Ink sometimes disappears when I am writing in Input Panel.
• I cannot change some settings in the Input Panel Options dialog box.
• I cannot add a word to the handwriting dictionary.
• Hiragana characters do not appear on the on-screen keyboard, or keys are missing from the on-screen keyboard when I am using Japanese as my input language.
