How to Turn Windows Features On or Off

1. From the Windows Vista default Start menu, tap or click Control Panel.

2. In the Control Panel window, click Uninstall a Program.

3. In the Uninstall or change a program window, click Turn Windows features on or off.

4. In the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.

5. In the Windows Features dialog box, click to clear the appropriate options, and then click OK.

6. The features are removed.

7. In the Microsoft Windows dialog box, click Restart Now.
