eMachines recommends Windows Vista® Home Premium.

Windows Defender

  1. From the Windows Vista default Start menu, click All Programs and then click Windows Defender.

    Note: Windows Defender can also be opened by typing Start Search keyword Windows Defender.

  2. In the Windows Defender window, click Scan.
